In further reference to the letter from the Department
of May the 12th. last, the Committee have pleasure in recom- mending Miss H. Anderton to the Secretary of State as a suitable Candidate for appointment as a Turse in the Medical Deaprt-
ment of Hong Kong.
Miss Anderton has been known to the Committee of the
Colonial Nursing Association since 1907, when her name was
placed on the books. In the following year she was recom-
mended to the Colonial Office for appointment in the Government
Hospitals of Ceylon, and recently terminated a three years'
agreement in that Colony. During this period the reports
received on her work and conduct were always satisfactory.
I beg herewith to enclose Miss Anderton's application
form and to say that she would be prepared to leave England
when desired.
